During my time at Dartmouth I have dived deep into three research areas:
- LLM hallucination detection. Built evaluation frameworks to detect and reduce hallucinations in large language models.
- Privacy and AI agents. Studying how agentic systems expose and leak private user data.
- Somali morphological analysis. Built a finite-state analyzer for a low-resource language.

Full compiler for a C subset — lexing, parsing, semantic checks, LLVM IR, and local/global optimizations.
AI date and activity planning platform — embeddings + ranking for real-time personalized recommendations. Led a team of 5.
Flask APIs for speech recognition and synthesis pipelines — low-resource language, containerized deployment.
